Postponed – American Heart Association Heartcode® Basic Life Support (BLS) Skills Check Off Session
Event Navigation

Due to the evolving nature of COVID-19, several community events and classes have been postponed. This is a precautionary measure to prevent possible exposure and spreading of COVID-19 among our staff, volunteers and the community.
The American Heart Association’s Heartcode® BLS Skills Check Off Session is designed for healthcare professionals who need to know how to perform CPR and other basic cardiovascular life support skills in a wide variety of in-facility and pre-hospital settings.
This course differs from the Heartsaver® First Aid CPR AED Skills Check Off Sessions in that there is no first aid training, the course goes over 2-man CPR, and attendees work with bag valves, and also find a pulse.
The BLS written online portion is REQUIRED prior to attending the Skills Check Off Session. This is paid separately to the AHA – $28.50. Please click on link to take the written portion: https://elearning.heart.org/course/21
Cost: $65/person (plus $28.50 paid to AHA for the written online portion)
For more information or to register for the program, please call HealthQuest Coordinator and Exercise Physiologist Lydia Senn at 970.384.7566.
