American Heart Association Heartsaver® First Aid CPR AED Skills Check Off Sessions
Skills Check Off Sessions are required every two years to maintain certification in Heartsaver® First Aid CPR AED.
The Heartsaver First Aid CPR AED written online portion is REQUIRED prior to attending the Skills Check Off Session. This is paid separately to the AHA – $30. Please click on link to take the written portion: https://elearning.heart.org/course/9
Heartsaver® First Aid CPR AED teaches students critical skills needed to respond to and manage an emergency until emergency medical services arrives. This course is designed to provide attendees a refresher in first aid, CPR, and using an automated external defibrillator (AED) in a safe, timely, and effective manner for adults, children and infants.
Heartsaver® courses are intended for individuals with little or no medical training, who need a course completion card for job, regulatory (e.g., OSHA), or other requirements. These courses can also be taken by anyone who wants to be prepared for an emergency in any setting.
Cost: $65/person (plus $30 paid to AHA for the written online portion)
