Chief Compliance Officer – Annie began her career by serving patients in a clinical capacity for nearly a decade after earning her master’s in clinical social work (MSW) from Smith College in Northampton, Massachusetts. Throughout her career Annie has excelled at working with multidisciplinary teams, bringing collaboration across disciplines—an essential practice in a hospital. Compliance and risk mitigation are foundational to organizational efficiency in healthcare. To lead in this space, it requires a finely tuned combination of hard and soft skills. Annie ensures that her department is a safe place for staff to seek support or counsel to resolve difficult or complicated situations. “Risk management finds its foothold in teams and partnership,” says Annie. “It melds the best of multidisciplinary teams and diverse perspectives together to discover a shared purpose.”
